Walking in Circles

 :(  I'm sick again!  This is so frustrating.  I was sick from the Friday before Christmas until the Friday after.  Then this Saturday I starting getting a sore throat.  bleh.  Hopefully this cold will pass faster than the last one.  Work is really busy right now and I can't miss work for some stupid cold.  I just wish they would hurry up and get my damn laptop in so I could work from home.  Then I wouldn't get anyone else at work sick.

Anyway, Brad and I went out to my mom's house on Saturday.  She and her boyfriend have just started to move into their new house so it was pretty empty when we got out there.  But its a nice looking house.  Only needs a little bit of work before its perfect.  Its got a nice backyard and a good side yard where my mom can have a garden.

Then on Sunday we went to see how the progress was going on our new house.  All the drywall is done.  They started putting in the cabinets which look awesome!  We're super excited about the place.  There's so much space.  If we don't get a roommate, I have no idea what we'll do with the front bedroom.  Its HUGE!  I guess we'll just use it as a guest bedroom and I'll have a hobby room in one of the Jack-and-Jill bedrooms.

Been working on ideas for costumes for the coming year.  I'd like to come up with a steampunk outfit or two.  Just don't know exactly what I want to do with it.  And I'll make some stuff out of chainmail.
